This is a wonderful, abstract painting dating to the mid-twentieth century. Sourced on a trip to France, the tones of pale greens, ivory, cream and tan reveal a figure of a human form which appears to be on bended knee. Works well when hung on the wall or layered amongst other items. This piece is not framed.

Painting measures 19.75"W x 25.5"H x 0.50"D. Considerable crazing in the paint as well as some minor losses. Discoloration appears to be due to some grime that has accumulated in places.
